The Planning Commission is comprised of 6 members and is regulated by state law to work to promote planned and orderly growth within the community.

The Planning Commission approves subdivision maps and commercial and industrial site developments, and makes recommendations to City Council regarding the general plan of the city, rezoning, and other items.
